Home based business information

I want to get information on starting and maintaining business. Any help, feedback, etc. from the "pros" would be appreciated.
I'm going to school and I'm looking for something to "work" at home, and I'm finding it "overwhelming" at times.
I would like this site to be a place for a forum, feedback for the "beginner" to the "established" home based business owner.

I'm basically an "artist" at heart.

When I'm not at school or "fooling around" on the computer...I crank up the music and start to do to some artwork (drawing, painting) or some paper mache or painting on jars or bottles...or I have fun studying!
